Our wine list is regionally influenced — Rheingau and Rheinhessen are at the center, complemented by Pinot Noir and selected bottles from Franconia. Plus Krombacher on tap and Höhl “Blauer Bock” from Hochstadt. Open wine by the glass or bottle prices according to the menu — we put together your pairing individually for each menu.
Rheingau Riesling sparkling wine brut or Krombacher Pils on tap. Traditional: Höhl apple wine “Blauer Bock”. Non-alcoholic: Rhönsprudel or Rapp’s apple spritzer.
With Green Sauce, classic: dry Rheingau Riesling — acidity and herbs complement each other perfectly. Alternative: pure apple wine from the Bembel.
With pork knuckle & schnitzel: Pinot Noir from the Rheingau or Franconia — rounded, with structure. For beer pairing: Krombacher Dark or Hell on tap.
Riesling Spätlese or Auslese for a sweet finish. With cheese: a strong Pinot Noir. With coffee: Williams pear pomace brandy or “Süßer” (mild apple wine).
White: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Silvaner. Red: Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, cuvée. Rosé & sparkling wine by the glass and by the bottle. Bottled wines on request — your sommelier recommends.
The Hühnermarkt is located directly between the Römer and the cathedral — within walking distance of the S-Bahn, with a parking garage beneath the square and taxi access up to the corner. We are happy to help organize shuttles for larger parties.
Station Dom / Römer (U4, U5) — 2 minutes on foot. From the main station to the table in around 10 minutes. Tram and bus stops Römer/Paulskirche are also just around the corner.
Dom / Römer parking garage directly beneath the square — the exit is less than 150 m from the entrance. Alternatively, Hauptwache or Konstabler parking garages. Parking is not possible in the pedestrian zone itself.
Taxi stands at Römerberg and Braubachstraße. For larger groups, we can organize a bus shuttle from the hotel or station on request — simply mention it in your inquiry.

Especially for weddings and larger corporate events, we recommend a tasting menu for up to four people. This way, you test courses, wines and service in advance — and we coordinate the menu in detail.

Answers to what hosts and celebration organizers ask us most often.
For weekends and December, we recommend booking three to six months in advance. On weekdays, four to six weeks are often enough. For short-notice inquiries, a call is worthwhile — sometimes something opens up.
Yes, it varies depending on the dining room and day of the week. Friday and Saturday evenings are higher than weekday lunch. We will tell you the exact minimum spend in the personal consultation, matching the number of guests and occasion.
No problem. Please let us know two weeks in advance which intolerances or dietary preferences there are — we plan the menu so that all guests are served equally well.
Drinks are supplied exclusively from our own stock. You may bring cakes from external pastry shops — we charge a small plate fee for cutting and serving. Details during the consultation.
From a certain number of guests, we ask for a deposit when reserving. Cancellation deadlines are staggered according to lead time — the later the cancellation, the higher the share. Everything is transparent in the offer beforehand.
Regular house closing is at 22:30. For larger celebrations, an extension is possible by arrangement. We are happy to organize shuttle or shared taxi departure so no one has to go home alone.
