Our website and the services offered through it — reservations, newsletter, gift vouchers, loyalty card and payments — are technically provided by gastronovi GmbH, Buschhöhe 2, 28357 Bremen. In doing so, gastronovi processes personal data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of our online services).
When you access our website, the server automatically records information of a general nature (server log files): IP address in anonymised form, date and time, browser type and version, operating system, page accessed, referrer URL. This data serves solely the smooth operation and improvement of our services (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and is deleted after 14 days at the latest.
When you reach us by email, phone or contact form, your details (name, email, subject, message) are stored to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (a) GDPR (consent). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Our online reservations are handled by gastronovi GmbH (embedded on the reservation page). Your details (name, email, phone number, date, time, number of guests, any requests) are processed to manage your reservation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The data is deleted after your visit within statutory time limits. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
For online payments — such as gift vouchers or pre-orders — we use Gastronovi Pay, the payment service of gastronovi GmbH. The payment data required for processing is handled in this context. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
For our monthly Küchenbrief we need a valid email address; it is sent via gastronovi GmbH. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). We use the double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you receive a confirmation email. You can withdraw your consent at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every email or by messaging us.
Our website uses technically necessary cookies to ensure functionality; these are deleted when you leave the site or after a short time (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Other cookies (e.g. comfort or statistics) are only set with your express consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TTDSG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
On our contact page we embed a Google Maps map to show directions (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map only loads once you actively enable it — only then is data (including IP address and browser information) transmitted to Google, which may involve a transfer to the USA. Where we use web analytics, this is done solely on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Any services used are configured so that IP addresses are truncated and personal evaluation is ruled out. You can find details and withdraw consent in the cookie settings.
Our site contains simple links to Facebook and Instagram — not embedded content, but ordinary hyperlinks. No data is transmitted to these providers until you click the respective link.
